Stretches are in quotations because you will see that stretching your nerve is NOT what you want at all. It’s a mistake a lot of people make when trying to heal their sciatica. They think stretching will solve the problem. In reality it’s about creating space around the nerve. So the first exercise you will see is not even an exercise at all!
The second is to help to free fascial restrictions around the nerve and the third is traction to give the nerve root space. These three are part of my daily home program and help to keep my sciatic nerve happy and pain free SEVERAL years down the road.
